Business Growth and Access to Finance

Drive your business growth and find the funding opportunities you need.

At DIH4CAT, we support you in identifying the most suitable funding opportunities for your company and help you prepare to access them.

We identify and analyse calls and funding instruments at the Catalan, national and European levels, as well as specific initiatives for innovation and the adoption of advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence.

We offer advice tailored to the needs and maturity of your project, from identifying the most suitable options to defining an application strategy.

We also help you prepare for private investment and facilitate connections with investors and other stakeholders in the innovation ecosystem, thereby contributing to the growth and scalability of your company.

The service includes:

Identification, dissemination and advice on accessing finance:

We identify and monitor the most relevant funding opportunities at regional, national and international levels. In addition, we offer direct advisory services to SMEs and start-ups seeking financial support to drive digital transformation projects. The service includes a detailed action plan, with clear guidance on the most suitable funding sources for each project, with the aim of facilitating access and increasing the chances of success.

Capacity development for access to finance:

We work to strengthen companies’ internal capacities so that they can participate effectively in financing and investment processes. This includes designing and organising training sessions, such as online seminars and practical workshops, on European financing instruments, proposal preparation and investor relations. The aim is to provide companies with the necessary tools, knowledge and support to identify, apply for and manage the various available funding opportunities.

Connection with private investors:

We support startups in accessing private funding sources, as well as public-private co-investment mechanisms. The service includes identifying private investors who may be potencially interested and facilitating contact with companies, as well as organising matchmaking activities between companies and investors. We also work on creating a catalogue of services and technological capabilities to meet the specific needs of startups and facilitate their access to the resources, knowledge and services available through the project’s partners.

Open Innovation Bootcamp:

A one-day intensive, in-person event aimed at SMEs, mid-caps and public organisations in Catalonia, to explore how to develop open innovation strategies that facilitate the adoption of digital technologies and artificial intelligence. The session, hosted by IESE Business School, combines expert-led sessions and networking opportunities to explore open innovation mechanisms, collaboration opportunities with research institutions and testing facilities, and strategies to facilitate the adoption of artificial intelligence.
